Ons Senior herder, Michael Oberholzer, het ‘n hart om te sien hoe mense lewend word in wie God hulle geskape het om te wees. Hy glo heelhartig dat die lokale kerk die hoeksteen is van die samelewing, en dat vanuit dit die hele lewe sin maak en mens sy plek en roeping vind.
Benewens sy passie vir Jesus en Sy kerk het hy ‘n groot begeerte om saam met leierskap te groei, mense op te rig, en anderste te dink en droom oor toekoms.
Hy het 2 pragtige kinders, en as jy hulle ken sal jy weet dat familie vir hulle alles is, soveel so dat die woorde wat jy die meeste by LWB sal hoor, is FAMILIE, LEKKER OM WEER SAAM TE WEES!

On 9 June 2017 at a Friday night service the Lord touched my heart and I have never been the same again. His unconditional love broke down years and years of walls that have been built around my heart and life to ‘survive’ and to ‘make it’. Walls that I believed was necessary to keep me safe.
But the truth is these walls have never been in God’s plan for my life. He called us to have emotions, to connect with His heart ond allow Him to guide and lead us through this short earthly journey we get to have. It has been almost 4 and a half years, and His love is still ‘wrecking’ me every day.
One of my favorite scriptures that is written in my heart is Galations 5:22-23 “But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things!”
I strive to live a life of “whatever is true, whatever is honorable and worthy of respect, whatever is right and confirmed by God’s word, whatever is pure and wholesome, whatever is lovely and brings peace, whatever is admirable and of good repute; if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think continually on these things [center your mind on them, and implant them in your heart].”
Philippians 4:8
